Ready to put your C chord into practice?

We've just learned how to play the C Chord, so now it's time to play some songs with it. If you're looking for songs to practice with, you'll notice that many need a G Chord too. We'll be learning that at the beginning of the next module, and then the list of songs you'll be able to play will grow a lot. Often, the G chord is also involved when there's a C chord. :)

So, for now, hold on a bit. In the meantime, check out the song tutorials below!

3 Easy Songs On Guitar With The C Chord

Here are three easy songs that will put your C chord into play:

1. Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles

This song is just C and Em chords. It's a beautiful song with a couple of quickie things. Some variations happen that you might not anticipate during chord changes. You'll be able to apply many different strumming patterns for this one.

2. Daft Punk - Get Lucky

This one has Am, C, Em, and D. This song is a different genre than I usually include. It's kind of like a disco, and it's super catchy!  - kind of like a disco. Here we are doing a simplified strumming version, but it's the same chord sequence throughout the song. It'll be great to work on jumping from the C chord to the minor chord. This particular chord sequence is quite common, so you'll be able to use it for other songs.

3. Pearl Jam - Black

They are one of my favorite bands, particularly in my teenage years! This song uses the C chord alongside other chords you've learned throughout the course, particularly the D and Em chords.
