Please be aware that many scammers have been messaging our Social Media followers to scam our supporters. It's always the same: they'll ask you to contact them by email, Telegram, or direct message!
We notified YouTube and are trying to alert our followers about the scam. Still, scammers are working hard to get you and are multiplying daily. :( Here's an example of what you might find:
So, following, we're sharing a few general tips to help you differentiate a message from Justin and his team from a scam message. You can also help us by tagging the message you received as Spam and notifying the social platform you're in about that user account!
Here are a few tips to help you recognize scammers and differentiate their messages from our official ones:
My team will only contact you with an official account at @justinguitar.com.
When my team contacts you, they'll introduce themselves by name or use an email signature.
Our social media accounts are verified! Always look for our blue tick on Instagram and TikTok.
Please pay attention to our YouTube subscriber's number. I've got over 1 million subscribers on my Main Channel and my Song Channel, and if the comment doesn't come from one of these accounts, they're very likely to be fake.
When emailing us, you'll usually contact Fanny, Richard, Lieven, and Laryne. You can get to know my team members here. They're awesome! :)
JustinGuitar doesn't use Telegram, and it won't request that you contact Justin or anyone else on that platform. It seems that involving Telegram is a common part of the scams we've encountered. Please be aware that we won't contact you by phone or ask you to contact us. Ever!
