“Let It Be” is a classic that seems to be a favorite, even amongst people who don’t really consider themselves huge Beatles fans! Beatles songs aren’t usually known for being simple to play, but this one’s pretty easy and forgiving. You can have a lot of fun here.
This tune only uses four chords on the ukulele - C, G, Am, and F. Really work on getting those chord changes clean and precise! It really does make a world of difference to the overall sound of the song.
Since you don’t have to worry too much about the chords themselves, though, you can get a little crazy (not too crazy!) with the little finger on your fretting hand. There’s plenty of opportunity for accent notes here and there that can either echo the melody line or just add some more interest to what’s otherwise just a bunch of repeating chords.
