These two DVD's are the most highly recommended and are only available on DVD from this site! They contain unique and highly effective methods I have developed over many years. Really Useful Strumming Techniques is designed for anyone that struggles with rhythm guitar. It starts at the very beginning, explains the basic theory and focuses on eighth note rhythm patterns, ties, picking out the bass notes, the muted strum as well as whole heap of handy hints (on plectrums, using a metronome, muting unwanted strings etc.) to get your rhythm playing solid and tight. The Blues Lead Guitar Series can be found free on this very web site. It explains all the basics about playing Blues lead guitar. Volume 1 contains the first 10 lessons from the series. Volume 2 contains the next 10 lessons, and the box set contains both DVDs and adds the Jam Blues Tracks (which is only available on CD with this set).

Well because you get far better quality than you will find on YouTube, and pausing is LOTS easier on DVD than on the YouTube vids, very useful on these lessons. Really Useful Guitar Stuff is a series of modules that you can print out and put into an A4 ring binder (or US letter size) and build to suit what you need to learn. More of these modules are planned for 2009.

In the Chord Construction Guide you will learn all about chord construction and it's practical application on the guitar neck. You will learn Justin's very simple and effective method for remembering chord grips (shapes) and by the end you should be comfortable with over 650 chords (with a little hard work from you of course). Chords covered are Major, Minor, Maj7, Dom7, Min7, Min7b5, Dim7, Maj6, Min6, Sus2 and Sus4. You will have a solid understanding of how chords are made and it will hopefully spark your interest in developing the ideas further on your own!

This pack contains 5 Blues tracks with lead guitar solos, and complete transcriptions of both the rhythm and lead parts. The Jam Blues tracks are designed to help you use the licks that you learn in the Blues Lead Guitar series (or that you have just learnt yourself) by giving you a twelve Blues Jam Tracks to play along with and work on your lead guitar skills. There are a few in the key of A for when you are starting out and the rest are in different keys to help you get used to using your scales and licks in other areas of the neck! Drums and bass by my good friend Dave Marks, with yours truly on the rhythm guitar! A physical copy is only available as part of the Blues Lead Guitar Box Set.
