As some of you may know, I spent Xmas and new year in 2008 working at an orphanage in the Volta region of Ghana. It was a wonderful experience and changed me in so many ways. I would highly recommend the volunteering experience to anyone, it really is fantastic.

You can watch some video of my adventure and read some stuff on my blog.

You can visit the web site for the Ryvanz-Mia Orphanage here.

Wanna do something great?

I don't need for much, but I know some people who do... so I have made an Amazon Wish List for the kids in the Ryvanz-Mia Orphanage in Kpando, Ghana. Simply choose something from this list and send it to them (the wishlist has their address already). Seeing those kids happy would be a great gift for me and them! Here's the link - Ryvanz-Mia Orphanage Wish List.

You can also send cloths and toys directly to them - the address is on their web site (help page).

If you would like to donate - please use Paypal and send money to my charity account at charity@sandercoe.com - 100% of the money goes to them and I pay all the bank charges (I send money to them often anyhow and sending more does not attract a lot more commissions). Big thanks in advance.

If you would like to volunteer - please go check out Village Volunteers, they are a US based company that organizes everything. They made it possible and help big time. Volunteering is not cheap - but SO worth it! And they were really cool people - very helpful and supportive.
