Being in tune is obviously pretty important... so lets have a look at that first. In the video I will play the open strings for you to tune up to. Or you can use the audio files on TB-001 • How To Tune Your Guitar. I will also demonstrate in the video an easy way to get your guitar in tune with itself. You might also like to check out how to tune with Harmonics, but it is quite a bit harder and may be beyond a beginner player - TB-002 • How To Tune Your Guitar (advanced) but you might find it interesting anyhow, even if you decide not to tune like that just yet!

Tuning is an important skill to learn, but takes practice just like everything else, so I do advice beginners to get a guitar tuner so they can make the guitar sound as nice as possible, for you and anyone that has to listen to you practice!
