BC-007 • Beginners Course Lesson 7
Something cool coming here soon... ;)
The Dreaded F Chord
The next stage involves learning every beginners nightmare, The F Chord. But don't be alarmed. It is a very nice chord and leads later to playing barre chords. Take a look at it...

The first finger must hold down two strings! It is not too hard really. There are other ways to play it but I think this is the best to start with. You might want to try playing the full barre chord if you know it but I usually recommend starting with this baby version. Remeber not to play the thickest two strings, they will sound REALLY awful.
There are some alternatives that I show you one the video too..
F Chord should sound like this:
Onwards...
Take it slow and try to make sure that you don't contort your arm, it should stay relaxed. With a bit of careful practice you will get it down and then you can get stuck into some more cool tunes!
